Nginx Compile Install

nginx 1.18.0 version 을 설치하는 기준으로 작성했다. 따라할 때, 참고해야 한다.

설치 폴더에 압축 해제

nignx 설치 

make
make install

nginx user & group 생성 

useradd --system --shell /sbin/nologin --comment "nginx user" --user-group nginx

symbolic link & cache directory 생성

심볼릭 링크를 만들어 nginx 업그레이드에 유연하게 대처할 수 있게 한다.

compile 할 때 설정한 캐시 디렉토리를 생성해야 한다.

ln -s /usr/local/nginx-1.18.0/ /usr/local/nginx
mkdir /var/cache/nginx/

nginx version 확인 

/usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx -V

Systemd 등록

Configuration summary 값을 확인해서 수정해야 한다.

실행 경로가 symbolic link 를 바라보게 해서 최신 버전 nginx 를 설치하고 symblic link 만 교체하면 되게끔 한다.

rm -rf /usr/lib/systemd/system/nginx.service
vi /usr/lib/systemd/system/nginx.service

systemctl daemon-reload
